Darren Johnson has more than 30 years of experience with major single-family and multi-family homebuilders in British Columbia and Washington State.

Since starting Cantera Management Group Ltd., Mr. Johnson has led his team in the completion of approximately 1,500 homes equating to almost 2 million finished square feet and approximately 300 million dollars in construction costs. Cantera continues to build over 300 homes per year.

Prior to starting Cantera Management Group Ltd., Darren was a founding partner, significant shareholder and President of Mosaic Avenue Construction. In less than four years Darren evolved the construction team from 3 people, 2 projects and 80 homes per year to 42 people, 8 projects and 350 homes per year. Darren was responsible for over 100 million dollars in construction costs during his partnership at MOSAIC. He was also responsible for the hiring and operation of a Customer Service team of 4 people with 338 homes under warranty.

Darren was previously associated with Polygon Homes, where over a period of 10 years, he rose from Quality Supervisor to Senior Construction Manager with two Polygon subsidiary companies; Madison Homes in Kirkland, Washington (1996 to 1999) and Morningstar Homes in the Lower Mainland (1999-2002). With Morningstar Homes, he oversaw the growth of single-family construction and post-occupancy customer care of more than 150 homes. With Polygon and Madison he was associated with the construction of over 900 multi-family homes.

An exceptional team leader, Mr. Johnson is recognized throughout the industry for his ability to consistently bring trades, suppliers and projects in on budget and on schedule.

Jade is the Operations Manager at Cantera Management Group. She leads and implements all human resource functions and operations within the company, including payroll and benefits administration, legal and insurance matters. Jade also works closely with the President on special projects.

Jade has over ten years experience working as a paralegal alongside a senior partner at one of Canada’s leading national tax law firms. During her tenure, she helped manage an extremely busy law practice while honing her skills in all things tax, legal analysis, legal drafting, administration and client care. 

Jade has diplomas in Business Administration and Legal Administration, as well as a certificate in Paralegal Studies. She graduated with honours from all three programs.
